Recreation: Recreation from Buttercup Campground includes camping, fishing, biking, hiking, skiing, jet skiing and photography as well as many other activities.įishing: Fishing is available in Cascade Lake by boat or from the bank for trout, large and small mouth bass, perch and northern Pikeminnow.īoating: There is a nice boat ramp with handling docks at Buttercup Campground. Picnic Area: There is a picnic table in the woods near the entrance to the campground and another near the boat ramp. Pets: Pets are allowed but must be kept on a leash or caged. Each of the outhouses are handicap accessible and the paved roads also make it easier to get around.įirewood: Firewood is available for $6.00 per bundle from a stand near the host. Handicap Accessible: Buttercup Campground is handicap friendly with two handicap equipped campsites, 122 and 126. Restroom: There are three vault style outhouses in the campground, one on the north end, another near the entrance, and a third at the boat ramp. I recommend using caution with your garbage to avoid trouble with black bears. Water: Yes, on a pressurized system with good water. Host on Site: Yes, there is a camp host on site. The roads and driveways are paved and the sites are grass covered. There is a boat ramp with a large parking lot and a picnic table or two in a small cluster of trees next to the campground.Ĭampsites: There are 29 campsites, each having a picnic table and fire ring with attached grill. It is a park like setting with mowed lawns and open spaces. Buttercup Campground is located on the west shore of Cascade Lake and is part of Lake Cascade State Park.
